Reflections on Learning this week
Caitlin S and Emma learned how to build a lego crane with a pulley
Tyreece "I learned how glasses are made and that machines are not always complicated"
Kaitlyn and Sarah U learned how to make a wheelie chair using large construction tools.
Ciaran and William found out who made the first chocolate fountain machine.
Chantal "I learned that in 1957 the first satellite was launched"
Jessica "I learned that disease detectives actually get diseased victim's blood to make a cure when I was doing my reading topic"
Cole "I learned more about how wheels and axles work"
James and Sarah U learned all about pianos.
Dannidee and Emma learned that some jet engines go fast and some go slow
Kaitlyn and Daisy learned that jet engines have sharp blades in them and what is inside them.
Jayden and Joel learned who was the first person to invent the playstation
Sarah P learned how to make chewy bananas at reading time
Travis learned that if an inclined plane is too steep the car will not go as far as if it was less steep.
Colby "When a plane lifts off and is in the air it uses less fuel than a car"
Lara "I learned that Thomas Edison invented the light bulb"
Tessa "Kaitlyn and I learned the difference between old and new watches"
Keziah "I learned how a motorbike works"
Shenee " I learned that compound machines have more than one simple machine part"

I learned not to use a helmet if it is damaged when I am riding my bike, even for a short distance" Jessica

" I learned how to make a stop signal to show a car behind me" Sylvia
